Powder deposit welding to extend the service life of plow blades
Especially in sandy soil, the wear on plow blades is extremely high and therefore they need be changed frequently. Since a plow has around 30 pieces of such shares, the workload is considerable. By applying a wear protection layer, the service life of the individual blades can be increased. With a specially developed metal powder applied by means of laser powder deposit welding, the plow shares wear much more slowly and the farmer can use his plow for a long time without any loss of quality.
This method is also applicable to cutting tools used in industrial tools.
