Press Release: ALPHA LASER Expands Management Team as Part of Succession Planning

Puchheim, July 27, 2026 – As part of a long-term succession plan, ALPHA LASER has expanded its management team. Philipp Hochmann and Philipp Distl were appointed Managing Directors of the company effective April 1, 2026.

With the appointment of the two executives, ALPHA LASER is setting the course early for the company’s continued successful development. The existing Managing Directors will remain in office and actively support the transition.

“The expansion of the management team is an important step in our long-term succession planning,” explains the existing management of ALPHA LASER. “With Philipp Hochmann and Philipp Distl, two experienced leaders who know our company, our customers and our markets extremely well are taking on responsibility. Philipp Hochmann holds a degree in Physical Engineering from a University of Applied Sciences and has been with ALPHA LASER since 2004. During his many years with the company, he has worked in the areas of service, sales, product management and application engineering, giving him extensive knowledge of the company’s products, markets and structures. Today, he is responsible for Sales, Service, Application Engineering, Product Management and Marketing.

Philipp Distl is an industrial engineer and combines sound commercial expertise with a deep understanding of industrial value creation and production processes. Before joining ALPHA LASER, he gained extensive experience at internationally operating consulting firms. Today, he applies this knowledge particularly in the areas of Finance, Purchasing and Human Resources. He is also responsible for Production and Logistics.
