ROTATIONAL PROCESS HEAD FOR SURFACE STRUCTURING

Laser Structuring

The rotating laser head LASERSPINDLE-S is used for automatic surface structuring of cylindrical inner surfaces of metallic components. Workpieces in the diameter range 60 mm - 180 mm and a maximum depth of up to 250 mm can be processed. Depending on the selected machine parameters, a wide variety of surface structures are available for application to the workpiece. It is possible to vary the roughness depth in the range Rz0 - Rz100. With a maximum speed of 10,000 rpm, extraordinarily high process times can be achieved.

The roughening process using the LASERSPINDLE-S has proven to be extremely resource-saving in terms of the energy and gas consumption used. Even in continuous operation, the LASERSPINDLE-S convinces with minimal wear.

The laser-based roughening of metal surfaces serves to activate the surface before a subsequent coating process. Laser roughening creates an ideal contact surface to the joining partner without damaging the base material. In this way, high and durable bond strengths can be achieved between the base material and the coating.

Aperçu de vos avantages :

  • Environmentally friendly: When structuring surfaces by laser, no cooling of the component is required. Moreover, no water is polluted and no chemical agents are required, which would have to be disposed of afterwards.
  • No reworking: No processing residues remain on the component.
  • Non-contact process: Minimal tool wear
