When it comes to the manufacture or repair of jewelry made of precious metals or any type of alloy, laser welding is pivotal.

Our welding lasers are used

in industrial mass production
for repairs directly next to gemstones, ring bands, and mountings
from single assembly to chain production
for welds on fittings
for repairs of eye wear frames (especially titanium)

New designs and techniques have emerged over the years, which would not have been possible without the use of ALPHA LASER welding devices.
Jewelry designer Tom Rucker, for example, welds fine platinum filaments with many spot welds using his “GEO.2” technology, thus creating unique jewelery.

Laser welding of the finest foils and wires with a thickness of <100 ?m is easily possible with the optional welding hood.
Another advantage: Finishing or polishing is no longer necessary in some cases.
