MOBILE LASER WELDING SYSTEM: VERSATILE & ROBUST
The welding lasers in the AL-CROSS series from ALPHA LASER focus on user-friendliness, mobility and robustness to enable precise and efficient laser welding. The stable, solid housing, combined with unique flexibility, enables precise laser welding in confined spaces and on high side edges of workpieces. They are ideal for welding applications in sheet metal processing and mechanical engineering. Equipped with a 600 W laser source, they even offer entry-level solutions for “heavy metal” applications.
Processes
TWO VARIANTS: AL-CROSS & AL-CROSS X
This system is available in two versions: as AL-CROSS and as AL-CROSS X. Both welding lasers are characterized by their user-friendly software and practical features, which enable precise laser welding. The fiber laser delivers a constant power of 450 W or 600 W and can be operated in both pulsed and CW mode. The welding behavior can be controlled via integrated pulse shapes. A useful software feature of the system is the ability to adjust a rotatable coordinate system on the workpiece surface.

USER-FRIENDLY CONTROL
The welding parameters can be set in various ways: via the color display, the multifunction foot switch or the new AL-DRIVE control unit. The AL-DRIVE control unit is used to control the axes of the AL-CROSS, activate semi-automatic mode and set the laser parameters. The buttons can be switched according to the user's preference so that operation is independent of the hand position. The HMI color display of the mobile laser welding machine is intuitive to operate and has a touch function. An integrated keypad is within easy reach of the operator. The tilting display ensures optimum visibility and the “senior mode” allows the user to set the laser parameters without reading glasses.
ROBUST & MOBILE
The devices are mobile thanks to easily movable wheels. With a width of just 780 mm, they can be easily maneuvered through standard doors. The integrated gas cylinder carrier also promotes mobility. The robust aluminum handles provide effective impact protection for edges and housing. The robust steel housing has integrated eyelets that make it easy to load or lift the system. There is also a hook for a cable winch. The generous storage areas offer plenty of space for various items. Special holders for welding rod, joystick, “gas pedal”, safety goggles and tools are useful aids. The flexibility and mobility that characterize most ALPHA LASER welding machines have been implemented here in an exemplary manner.
AL-CROSS X: FLEXIBILITY AT NEW HEIGHTS & DEPTHS
With its extended arm settings, the AL-CROSS X offers the option of welding at unusual heights and depths. Thanks to the high degree of flexibility in welding positioning, you can work precisely from different angles and even in hard-to-reach places. This makes it versatile and efficient for welding projects. Transportation is uncomplicated: With a transport height of just 1.25 m (with the display folded down), the AL-CROSS X fits well in trailers and in vehicles such as VW Bulli, Multivan, Crafter, Caddy, Mercedes Vito, Sprinter and all other motor vehicles with a loading height of at least 1.40 m.

ALFT-HDMI camera system
For displaying the welding process on an external monitor The camera system is specially made for ALPHA LASER systems and is mounted below the laser's microscope attachment. Includes power supply, HDMI cable, and laser connection cable. HDMI recorder for recording not included in scope of delivery.
Ergo wedge 5°-25°
Enables tilting of the binocular for ergonomic working.
Magnetic holding sphere

Turn and tilt objective
Our tilting objective significantly eases work in difficult workpiece positions. In the objective's full 360° rotational range, the beam can be directed continuously up to 40° from the vertical.
