ALFlak

Self-propelled, robust, programmable

ALFlak Mobile Laser Welding Device

Extremely flexible in the selection of laser sources and laser power and virtually
unlimited possibilities in terms of laser welding applications

The ALFlak is an extremely robust laser welding device with a high laser power and large reach.

The well-thought-out movement mechanism and the projecting laser arm allow you to comfortably work on large components – manually or programmed. The slim laser arm can even reach into deep and unwieldy molds. Uninterrupted welding seams of up to
340 mm in length can be achieved.

This saves time, as constant repositioning is not necessary. To work even more comfortably, you can also install automatic wire feeding (AL-DV). The ALFlak is available with a self-propelled caterpillar track or as a manually moving version. The caterpillar track gives the laser system easy maneuverability. The device is positioned with centimeter accuracy via two independent travel switches. Find out for yourself how movable the ALFlak is:

We Would Gladly Assist You in Selecting a Laser That is Right for You.

The ALFlak system is available either as a flash-lamp pumped Nd:YAG laser or as a fiber laser system.
The laser source is selected depending on your requirements.

ALFlak 200/300 Nd:YAG

The flash-lamp pumped laser variant is recommend for users who need high peak pulse power. ...

This system allows you to work pulsed at up to 100 Hz under visual control. This welding laser is available with 200 or 300 W. The device is operated (laser settings, movement and speed of the axes) via the display. In addition, the laser parameters can also be configured or adjusted during welding by means of the patented multifunctional footswitch. This allows you to remain fully focused on welding, without requiring you to take your hands off the workpiece.

ALFlak 300/450/600/900 Fiber Laser System

The fiber source model is recommended if your application requires a validated process, e.g., if you wish to weld using the CW (continuous wave) method or pulsed, take advantage of deep welding in sheet metal fabrication, or simply if you require maximum average power. ...

This fiber laser system is available with laser powers of 300, 450, 600, and 900 W. The 300 W or 450 W fiber sources can subsequently be upgraded to twice the performance if your requirements change.

The laser and movement system can be conveniently operated via the intuitive touch screen. In addition, the laser parameters can also be configured or adjusted during welding by means of the patented multifunctional footswitch. This allows you to remain fully focused on welding, without requiring you to take your hands off the workpiece. The WINLaserNC software is also programmed right on the touch screen.

The XY and Z movement can be locked separately Available for an extra charge instead of the ball joint

ALFT-HDMI camera system

For displaying the welding process on an external monitor The camera system is specially made for ALPHA LASER systems and is mounted below the laser's microscope attachment. Includes power supply, HDMI cable, and laser connection cable. HDMI recorder for recording not included in scope of delivery.

Ergo wedge 5°-25°

Enables tilting of the binocular for ergonomic working.

Halogen bulb (flexible)

Laser Wire Feed System AL-DV for automated and manual laser wire deposit welding

Welding wires from 0,2 – 1,6 mm can be fed automatically

Left/right pivoting beam deflection unit +/- 110 °

Magnetic holding sphere

for quick and easy placement of the workpiece. The slip-stick effect between the ball and the socket guarantees a secure hold of the workpiece in any position.

Perpendicular objective - LED ring light

The LED ring light integrated in the objective provides optimal, even, and flicker-free illumination of the workpiece in daylight quality Focusing objective f = 150 or f = 300 available and protection glass 601-0690A

Rotary axis module

For welding cylindrical parts Tiltable for horizontal to vertical rotational movement. With chuck Ø 125 mm and inside diameter 24 mm

Switchable micro welding function (Nd:YAG System)

The switchable micro welding function reduces the welding spot diameter to very fine <0.1 mm.

Turn and tilt objective

Our tilting objective significantly eases work in difficult workpiece positions. In the objective's full 360° rotational range, the beam can be directed continuously up to 40° from the vertical. Moving the workpiece is not required. The beam can be conveniently directed towards difficult to access locations while maintaining an ergonomic work posture. With focusing objective f = 150, LED ring light and protection glass
