AL-TW

THE WORK BENCH WITH INTEGRATED FIBER LASER

Pulsed Welding or CW Welding.
With the Fiber Laser You Can Do Both.

The fiber source is characterized by high efficiency – ideal for reproducible welds.
The open concept gives you flexibility in terms of processing a wide variety of components.

The AL-TW is a stable work bench with integrated fiber laser. It is available with 300, 450, 600, or 900 watt laser sources. It allows you to weld pulsed or in CW mode (CW = continuous melt). A keyhole is made during CW welding (deep penetration depths into the material are possible as a result).

The lasers and movement system are easily operated from an intuitive touch screen on the side console.

In addition, the laser parameters can also be configured or adjusted during welding by means of the patented multifunctional footswitch. This allows you to remain fully focused on laser welding, without requiring you to take your hands off the workpiece.

Your benefits at a glance:

  • Open laser system – work without restrictions in your operational space
  • Safe working – the system fulfills performance level d
  • Extremely robust due to the stable steel construction
  • Welding in CW mode possible, thus high penetration depth and high welding speed
  • Precision joystick
  • Easy to operate via intuitive touch screen
  • Low maintenance, as no lamps have to be changed
    or mirrors switched out

A large and stable work plate holds workpieces weighing up to 450 kg and facilitates their precise positioning.
The joystick for movements along the X, Y, and Z axes responds very precisely, and all axes directly follow the joystick movement, either

  • manually by joystick,
  • semi-automatically
  • or in automatic mode with the WINLaserNC software.

The AL-TW is an open laser system: Work without any restrictions to your operational space. When implementing laser
safety measures, we can assist you with our laser safety concept. The laser welding device comes standard with an integrated
safety circuit and meets the highest safety rating – performance level d.

The AL-TW is recommended when your application requires a validated process, e.g., if you wish to reap the benefits of
CW welding in sheet metal fabrication, use deep welding, or simply if you require maximum power. By the way, you can also retrofit
the 300 W and 450 W models to twice the power.

Stay flexible.
The AL-TW 900 F also enables powder deposit welding (powder nozzle option).

The ALFlak system is available either as a flash-lamp pumped Nd:YAG laser or as a fiber laser system.
The laser source is selected depending on your requirements.

ALFlak 200/300 Nd:YAG

The flash-lamp pumped laser variant is recommend for users who need high peak pulse power. ...

This system allows you to work pulsed at up to 100 Hz under visual control. This welding laser is available with 200 or 300 W. The device is operated (laser settings, movement and speed of the axes) via the display. In addition, the laser parameters can also be configured or adjusted during welding by means of the patented multifunctional footswitch. This allows you to remain fully focused on welding, without requiring you to take your hands off the workpiece.

ALFlak 300/450/600/900 Fiber Laser System

The fiber source model is recommended if your application requires a validated process, e.g., if you wish to weld using the CW (continuous wave) method or pulsed, take advantage of deep welding in sheet metal fabrication, or simply if you require maximum average power. ...

This fiber laser system is available with laser powers of 300, 450, 600, and 900 W. The 300 W or 450 W fiber sources can subsequently be upgraded to twice the performance if your requirements change.

The laser and movement system can be conveniently operated via the intuitive touch screen. In addition, the laser parameters can also be configured or adjusted during welding by means of the patented multifunctional footswitch. This allows you to remain fully focused on welding, without requiring you to take your hands off the workpiece. The WINLaser 5 software is also programmed right on the touch screen.
